In partnership with SAKATA Company, food parcels are distributed to 90 socially vulnerable families from Bragança Paulista – SP. The project aims to mitigate hunger and malnutrition, especially in the child population and developing individuals.
With the support of the Francisco de Assis Institute for Human Development (IFAPH) and in partnership with EE Wadih Jorge Maluf in Sumaré, SP, the social project “Kung Fu, Control and Serenity” offers free classes for children and youth in vulnerable situations.
The Nascente Vila Olímpia Soccer School is a social development initiative supported by Brazil’s Sports Incentive Law. Its mission is to provide children and adolescents with opportunities for holistic growth through sports, education, and citizenship.
More than teaching soccer, the project fosters essential values such as discipline, respect, teamwork, and solidarity. Participation is granted only to those who attend school regularly, respect teachers and peers, and demonstrate commitment to learning both on and off the field.
This project has been officially approved by the Ministry of Sports, under Deliberation No. 1.682 of April 23, 2024, Registration No. 2400217, published in the Official Gazette (DOU) on April 2, 2024 (page 32, item 34).
The Jardim de Madre Teresa blossomed in 2021, in the post-pandemic period, with the mission of addressing the challenges of literacy that were worsened by the long interruption of in-person schooling.
The after-school tutoring classes began modestly in the Matão neighborhood — an area of high social vulnerability in Sumaré, São Paulo. Today, the project welcomes more than 50 children and adolescents in a new space equipped with playful learning rooms and a kitchen prepared to offer nutritious snacks made with care.
The Jita Kyoei Project is an initiative supported by the Sports Incentive Law that provides opportunities and encouragement for the holistic development of children and adolescents from Vila Olímpia.
Through the practice of Judo, the project seeks to promote values such as discipline, respect, solidarity, and cooperation — principles that are also reflected in school and in life.
On the mat, only those who are willing to learn, respect their teachers and peers, and grow together are allowed to step in.
Carried out by IFAPH, the project takes place monthly on Fridays and aims to promote the emotional well-being of children and adolescents from CMPCA (child care system), helping them cope with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
This initiative is the result of a partnership between the Francisco de Assis Institute for Human Development (IFAPH) and the Campinas branch of the Spiritist Military Crusade (CME Campinas). This year, the project celebrated three years of activities, with 818 layette kits delivered.
Every month, the kits are provided to low-income pregnant women from underprivileged neighborhoods in Campinas (SP), as well as mothers supported by the Associação Piauiense Espírita Langerton (APEL).

The Francisco de Assis Institute for Human Development (IFAPH) provides financial support for the “Board Games/Checkers and Chess” project, which benefits children and adolescents from the public school E.E. Wadih Jorge Maluf, in the municipality of Sumaré (SP).
As a result of the work developed during the classes, the girls’ and boys’ under-14 teams achieved 1st and 2nd place overall, respectively, at the São Paulo State School Games (JEESP).
The classes take place at E.E. Wadih Jorge Maluf thanks to a Partnership Agreement signed between our Institute and this important educational institution in the municipality of Sumaré.
The Cordas Solidárias Project aims to offer guitar lessons to children and adolescents in the city of Sumaré, São Paulo, providing a space for musical education through the learning of this special instrument.
In addition, the project seeks to promote cultural and social inclusion, awaken musical talents, and contribute to improved quality of life, mental health, and personal development through music.
Harmonia em Voz is a project supported by the Culture Incentive Law that offers music therapy workshops for children who are victims of domestic violence.
In this welcoming environment, through playful activities and the power of music, they are able to express emotions and anxieties, allowing professionals to provide therapeutic support that nurtures motivation, affection, and hope in each child.
The project was approved by the Ministry of Culture under Ordinance SEFIC/MINC No. 590, dated August 19, 2024, as published in the Official Gazette (DOU) on August 20, 2024 (page 33, item 246732).
Sinfonia do Bem is a project supported by the Culture Incentive Law that offers instrumental music workshops for neurodivergent youth and adults, as well as for children who are victims of violence or living in underprivileged communities.
In partnership with Casa de Ismael, the Francisco de Assis Institute for Human Development (IFAPH) carries out the monthly distribution of basic food baskets in the communities of Vila Olímpia, Jardim São Marcos, and Cidade de Sumaré, helping to combat food insecurity and strengthen social solidarity.
SAKATA, one of IFAPH’s sponsoring companies, is also part of this chain of good, donating 50 food baskets every month to families in vulnerable situations in Bragança Paulista (SP).
This initiative goes far beyond providing food — it brings hope, relief, and dignity to those who need it most.
